Egg Timer

A boiled-egg timer: pick runny, jammy, medium or hard, and it tells you when to take the eggs out.

Using the app

• Bring the water to a rolling boil, lower the eggs in, then tap Start.
• Egg size, egg temperature (from the fridge or room temperature) and altitude adjust the time.
• The countdown keeps running on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and you get an alert when the eggs are done — even with the screen off.

No alert when the timer ends?

Allow notifications for Egg Timer in your device settings (Settings › Egg Timer › Notifications). Without them the app can only show the finished timer when you open it.

Language and country

The app follows your device language. To use a different language for this app only, open Settings › Egg Timer › Language (iOS) or Settings › Apps › Egg Timer › Language (Android 13 and later). The country in the app’s own settings sets the default egg temperature and whether altitude is shown in metres or feet.
